Thank you to the grassroots grant for bringing black box dance company to TMS for our 8th graders to enjoy! The dance company traveled from Raleigh, North Carolina to share a respect for dancing . Their dance was a catalyst for meaningful human interactions, powerful storytelling and transformative art-making for our students to experience.
Thank you to Corey Brown, Pender county CAP liaison for Cape Fear Community College for coming to speak with interested 8th grade students. He came to explain and answer questions from our 8th grade students interested in taking advantage of the new CAP program Pender County is offering to high school students. Congratulations to our boys and girls basketball teams as they finish regular season undefeated with wins vs. Cape Fear tonight! 8th graders were honored for the girls team, boys team and cheerleaders! Come support our TMS #1 seed teams as we begin the tournament Monday starting at 4:30 at TMS. Girls will play first followed by the boys.Championship games will be held at THS on Wednesday.
