
As Ms. Bafunno’s World Geography students finished up their study of the USA with a road trip project, some took an extra credit opportunity to bring in a food sample from their trip! We got to sample corn bread, pecan pie, cupcakes, Oreos, Fritos, and Sweet Tea!

Operation Military Kids Club, is having a Non-Runners Run on Saturday at 10am from Faith Harbor Church to the Salty Turtle in Surf City. It is a half mile run with a donut stop in the middle. The Run is OMKC’s biggest fundraiser of the year. Proceeds go towards funding club activities, service projects, and our Freedom Family Festival in April to celebrate the Month of the Military Child.

October 7th was manufacturing day so we celebrated by having guest speakers from Southern Industrial Constructors & Corning share with students. Students learned about multiple careers in the construction industry.They also learned how glass is made.
