Good evening Sea Turtles. Beginning tomorrow, Wednesday, February 5, students who live in the Poplar Branch Neighborhood will ride bus 331 in the mornings. This does not affect the afternoon routes. Again, Poplar Branch students will ride 331 in the morning. Thank you!

Mrs. Rice's 4th grade ELA classes are looking at why it’s important to understand all sides of a story as they study the different perspectives in the Revolutionary War. They are reading The Scarlet Stockings Spy book and researching to see what parts of the story are factual.
Our school counselors, Miss. Marshall and Mr. Hobgood, do so much for our students each day in more ways than you may know because they believe that every student needs a school counselor who believes in and cares about them. Mrs. Milliner's class is learning how to measure units of time by estimating how long it takes to do different activities while Mrs. Clark's class has shown great choices by earning their 15th surf point and celebrated with a cozy PJ day. Keep up the great work, second graders!

Check out Ms. Potts' Kindergarten class, they're designing and testing a model for their science question, “What weather elements made the pole wet on one side but dry on the other?” They used spray bottles to represent rain and a fan to represent wind and discovered that it was a combination of the two elements that made this happen. Great work, scientists!
