A UNC Chapel Hill advisor visited Mrs. Lawson's class last week to discuss STEM Technology. He introduced them to jobs like welding, computer programming, agriculture, and masonry. Students designed catapults during his visit and had a great day with Mr. Webster!

Pender County Library is gearing up to start their Summer Reading Program! Readers will win a prize or raffle ticket for every 10 hours of reading completed between June 1 - July 31. Don't miss out on their FREE teen kick-off event on Friday, June 3rd from 11-1! @penderlibrary
The First Annual Poetry Slam at BMS was a success! Students presented their own poems or chose famous poems to read aloud to their classes while visiting the library. Faculty members and students can't wait to do it again next year; it brought the Red Devil Family together!

Jacob Avery came in First Place and has earned the title of State Champion of Bottle Rocket at the 2022 NC Science Olympiad State Tournament! He also competed against 48 total teams.
