Stingrays in Ms. Merritt's 2nd grade class got in the spirit during their social studies unit by throwing a Fourth of July party. Students dressed in red, white, and blue and enjoyed festive cupcakes while they learned about Memorial Day and other national holiday traditions.

South Topsail teachers take teaching the extra mile.... check out Ms. Cantrell in her "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom" coconut tree costume! Her students made connections to the book by examining a coconut and tasting coconut milk! It's fun to be a Stingray!
