4th graders enjoying the love of reading and sharing stories during library class. 💙📚💚

Good morning Surf City families. Bus 230 and bus 280 will be approximately 30 minutes late this afternoon. We are sorry for this inconvenience.

Mrs. Clark’s 2nd graders are looking good. 👀 They're practicing the inside outside routine to explain the problem and resolution in the story that they're reading. 📚

Ms. Mizell's 4th grade class is busy learning about how animals use their senses to communicate. Today students sorted bugs ranked in order based upon how quickly birds will learn to not eat those bugs and avoid attacking them. 🐜🦗🦟

Check out Ms. O'Brien's 3rd grade students. They've been busy writing summaries on the book The Fantastic Undersea Life of Jacques Cousteau. Great job, writers! ✏️

GOTR is off to a great start! We're thankful for Coach Devon and her helpers Mrs. Allen & Mrs. Loftus. Keep up the great work, girls! 🏃🏼♀️ #onepender

In an effort to support our neighbors in Western NC who are suffering from historic flooding, Surf City Elementary will be collecting water, nonperishable food items, personal hygiene items, and cleaning supplies on Monday and Tuesday of this week. These items will be delivered to the Pender County EMS and Fire on Tuesday afternoon. You may deliver items to the main office during the school day, or allow your student to bring items in when they get to school. Thank you.
