Lunch with the Law 👮🏼 Thank you to our awesome SC Police Department for sitting down to lunch with our second graders. This community program helps our police work on building trust and open communication with the younger generation.

It's always more fun to solve holiday math word problems when you're using hands on manipulatives. Great work, Mrs. Holt's second graders!

Mrs. Burnett's 3rd grade class was busy this afternoon learning how the sun and earth's rotation creates shadows and day & night. ☀️🌖

Mrs. Meadow's PreK class read the story The Gingerbread Man and then were separated into groups and had to think of an object that would get the gingerbread man across the water without getting wet. They used team building and critical thinking skills to come up with just one way to get their gingerbread man across. At the end they made a prediction if the gingerbread man cookie would sink of float if he didn't have that object.

🌟WHAT A DAY!🌟Our Girls on the Run team crushed their 5K yesterday. To our amazing Coach Devon, families, running buddies, and cheerleaders - thank you for making this day unforgettable. And to our incredible girls who crossed the finish line, your hard work and determination inspires us all. 🏃🏼♀️

2nd Grade just finished up reading two versions of Johnny Appleseed and now it's their time to create their own digital book that includes the lessons they learned from Johnny Appleseed's life. Kayla Davidson, our awesome Digital Learning Specialist, came this morning to teach them how to do this using Google slides in conjunction with staying on track with their Digital Tool Checklist handout.

Mrs. Holt & Mrs. Allen's second grade classes had parents join in the fun to build gingerbread houses and trains last week. We love your creativity!
