8th Graders attended a career fair at WPMS.

Mrs. Kessler says her class was working with themes, characters and symbols and making connections between them. "If two pieces touch, students must be able to make a strong connection between them and any other piece it may touch. This activity makes students think deeply about the ways in which characters and ideas are interconnected in our novel. This was my first attempt with this, but it won’t be my last. They got right to work, and their conversations were deep. I’m hooked!"
