The PHS Beta Club is sponsoring a Daddy/Daughter Dance for 0-8th Grade on April 9th in the PHS Gymnasium from 3:00-5:00 PM. Tickets are $20 and available at PHS or at Lanier’s Hardware. They include refreshments, photo booth, activities and entered for drawings during the event.
During school hours on Thursday, March 24th, sophomores will participate in a seminar where they will learn their PreACT scores. We will, then, help them to understand their data and provide answers to any questions they may have concerning the PreACT.

We want to send congratulations to our masonry students who competed in Goldsboro over spring break. Heman Leon placed 2nd in Masonry 1 Division out of 40 contestants, Tyler Robinson placed 4th in the Line-burner competition, and the team placed 2nd overall in the competition.
Congratulations to the male and mixed Raider teams after their recent competition. The male team placed 1st in 5k, Team Physical Fitness Challenge, and Litter, 2nd in Rope Bridge and 3rd in Truck Pull. The mixed team placed 1st in 5k, 2nd in Rope Bridge, and 3rd in Truck Pull.

Busy week as spring sports start up
PHS Registration: Students will begin choosing electives on March 2nd during 1st block. The counselors have talked to students about graduation requirements and course options for next year. Class registration will be open from March 2nd through March 4th.
ACT Reminders: Bring a charged chromebook and charger. Arrive at school no later than 8:30 am; you cannot enter once testing begins. Get a good night’s sleep and eat a good, healthy breakfast. Bring the approved ID so you can enter the testing room.
ACT testing March 1, 2022: Juniors will take the ACT on Tuesday, March 1. Testing locations have been shared with the students. All classes will be in 1st block until around 1:30 pm. Students without a 1st block class on campus do not need to report until 1:30 pm.
Playoff game for tomorrow has been set. Boys will be at Wilson Prep 5:30 $8 admission
