As the 2022 Statewide Primary is nearing (May 17), a reminder that the distribution or display of political materials is prohibited.
The school year is coming to an end and if you have received emails or letters home regarding chromebook repair fees or past due lunch fees, please take care of these costs as soon as possible. For seniors, these fees must be paid in full before graduation.
As of Monday, April 11th, water bottles will no longer be supplied by the school. Students may bring their own water bottles or containers for water and have them in the classrooms. The water fountains are open and operational, so students may refill bottles or containers.
Beginning Monday, April 11, 2022, random hall sweeps will occur with immediate consequences. Students caught in the hallways when the tardy bell rings will be taken to the auditorium to serve ISS (in-school suspension) for that class period.
Easter Holiday is Friday, April 15, 2022. Remember there will be no school for students that day. Also, Monday, April 18, 2022 is a Teacher workday and there will be no school for students. Have a safe and enjoyable long weekend!
It’s time for rising seniors to think about requirements for their senior year. Twelfth grade vaccine requirements are: 5 doses of DTaP, 4 doses of Polio, 2 doses of MMR, 3 doses of Hepatitis B, 1 dose of Varicella, 1 dose of Tdap, and 2 doses of Meningococcal conjugate.

Student attendance is taken in each class for a total of 4 times daily, so if a student is marked absent in any class, an automated call goes out that evening. This includes students excluded due to Covid. Covid quarantine dates are updated as soon as possible.
Students are to be picked up in the front circle. Please do not try to pick up students in the student parking lot or any of the back parking lots. Drivers should turn off Hwy 53 into the circle drive for student pick up and exit onto Horsebranch Road. This is a one-way drive.
Prom is going to be at UNCW Warwick Center Ballroom on April 23 from 7-11 PM. Tickets will be on sale April 4-8 for $50. You can pay by cash, check, or money order only. The theme is Galaxy and masks are optional. Prom king/queen applications are due by April 14th.

Here comes the bus is now available to PHS students. You can view the real-time location of your bus by accessing the app from your smartphone, tablet or computer. You can receive notifications or email alerts to be able to send your child to the bus stop at the right time.
