📚🍟 Fries for School Supplies is Back! 🍟📚
We are excited to announce that for the second year in a row, our local McDonald’s owner-operators are hosting the Fries for School Supplies fundraiser in our school district!
Last year, over $110,000 was raised for our area schools, and we’re aiming to do even more this year! 🎉
From August 26th to 30th, McDonald’s will donate 10% of sales from all a la carte Fries to help support our schools. It’s a delicious way to contribute to our community! 🙌
🏈 Friday Night Lights Are Back! 🏈
We're excited to kick off the high school football season tonight with all three of our varsity teams—Heide Trask, Pender, and Topsail—playing at home! 🎉 Come out and support our student-athletes as they give it their all on the field!
Reminder: New this year, metal detectors will be in place at all high school football and basketball games to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated!

The home football game is tonight at 7:00 p.m. Remember, tickets are now $8.00 cash or card. All patrons must pass through metal detectors upon arrival. Also, here is the new parking map. Go Patriots!
Just a reminder that Open House is tomorrow night! We will start in the gym - please pay close attention to the schedule as this year is a little different. Students will be able to check out Chromebooks tomorrow night in the media center. We are EXCITED to have you back!
✂️ Back-to-School Haircuts! ✂️
Cape Fear Community College is offering free haircuts this Saturday, August 24, from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Barber School located at 108 Walnut St.
No appointments needed—just walk in! All haircuts will be supervised by a licensed instructor and are first-come, first-served. Remember, students under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Get ready for the new school year with a fresh look!
