The students in Mrs. Morin's class are getting ready for real-world experiences! The room is buzzing with excitement as they dive deeper into the Paxton Patterson Labs. It may look like organized chaos, but in reality, students are developing valuable skills that will benefit them for years to come.
💅 In the new Cosmetology Unit, students have made sugar scrubs and are learning how to shape and paint fingernails.
👶 In Intro to Child Development, they're discovering how to care for infants and even have the opportunity to earn a babysitting certification from the Red Cross.
Everyone is engaged in their own lab activities, building confidence and practical skills for the future. Who knows what other exciting experiences await our students!

Cape Fear Middle School faced some challenging matchups yesterday:
⚽ Our girls soccer team battled hard against Topsail Middle School but came up short on the pitch.
🏀 Our boys basketball squad also faced a tough defeat against Topsail.
While the scoreboard didn't go our way, we're proud of the heart and effort our Grizzlies showed! Every game is a learning opportunity, and we know both teams will come back stronger.
