🐻 What a way to close out the school year! 🐻
Today at CFMS, we wrapped up the year with our annual Field Day, and it did NOT disappoint! Our Grizzlies hit the field for some friendly competition — tug-of-war, three-legged race, musical hoops, beach ball relay, and Houdini hoops had everyone laughing, cheering, and giving it their all! 🎉
We topped it all off with ice pops 🍦, lunch, and one final trip to the concession stand — because every great day deserves a great ending!
To our amazing students, families, and staff — it was a wonderful day to be a Grizzly. We are so proud of each and every one of you. 💙🩶

Today at Cape Fear Middle School, the Grizzlies unveiled this year's yearbook — and it was dedicated to someone who has truly earned it: Mrs. Radcliff. 🐻
39 years in education. Countless lives touched. A legacy that will never be forgotten.
As she prepares to retire at the end of this year, we wanted her to know just how deeply she has meant to this school, these students, and this community. There are no words big enough — but this dedication is our best attempt.

Our amazing BETA Club had the honor of presenting a check to the Pender County Sheriff's Office K-9 Unit this past Friday — and the whole school got a front-row seat to an awesome K-9 demonstration! 🚔🦮
Through hard work, dedication, and a series of fundraisers throughout the school year, these students raised funds and made sure they went right back into the community. Seeing our young leaders put their efforts toward supporting local law enforcement is something truly special.

🏫 Cape Fear Middle School Families — 📢 Important EOG Retake Opportunity!
We want to share an important opportunity for your student. Any student who does not score at the proficient level on their End-of-Grade (EOG) tests will be given a chance to retake them. 🎯
❓ Why does this matter? EOG results play a key role in how we build student schedules for the upcoming school year — and this is important for ALL of our middle school students! 📅 By using the data from these assessments, we are able to make informed decisions about course placement and academic support, ensuring every student starts next year in the right place. ✅ This is especially critical for our current 8th graders who are rising to 9th grade. 🎓 These EOG scores will also be shared with the high school and used to help determine course placement and scheduling for their freshman year! 🏫➡️📚
💪 We encourage every student to take this retake opportunity seriously because this is another opportunity to prove how great we are at CFMS. 🌟
