We want to share an important opportunity for your student. Any student who does not score at the proficient level on their End-of-Grade (EOG) tests will be given a chance to retake them. 📝
Why does this matter? 🎯
EOG results play a key role in how we build student schedules for the upcoming school year — and this is important for ALL of our middle school students! 📊 By using the data from these assessments, we are able to make informed decisions about course placement and academic support, ensuring every student starts next year in the right place. This is especially critical for our current 8th graders who are rising to 9th grade. 🎓 These EOG scores will also be shared with the high school and used to help determine course placement and scheduling for their freshman year! 🏫

We are SO proud of our 7th graders! 🌟 Our students recently completed a 10-week DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) course as part of their social studies class. Through this incredible partnership between Pender County Schools and the Pender County Sheriff's Office, our Grizzlies learned the importance of making healthy life decisions that will stick with them for years to come! 💪
Each graduate received a certificate and a DARE shirt to celebrate this milestone — and they've earned every bit of it! 👏🎉

We want to clarify our previous message regarding Future Titans Night at Heide Trask High School. This event is open to ALL currently in-season student athletes — not just rising 9th graders. We apologize for any confusion!
If your child is playing a spring sport right now, they are welcome to attend and receive FREE entry when wearing their jersey. This includes all CFMS and BDY Baseball and Softball players.

🥎 Softball @ 6:00 PM
⚾ Varsity Baseball @ 6:30 PM
This is a wonderful opportunity for our student athletes to see Titan athletics up close and envision themselves as part of the program. We hope to see you all there!
