
TMS chess exhibition consisted of 17 students playing chess for one hour, 10 minutes per game. The last player standing was Kyle M. Thanks to Mr. Lu, Mr. Sisto and Mrs. VanDalen for helping make this event happen!



Math club ended with two contestants winner Jin G. and Mady L.



Mr. Bell shared his diving experience on the World War Two German U-boat wreck off the NC Coast (u-352). He even brought in this boot to share with Ms. Bafunno’s classes!



Members of our Student Government Association chose to spend their
meeting time beautifying our school, starting with the bathrooms!

TMS students closed out " Month of the Military Child" with a Chalk the Walk. Our students expressed themselves about how it feels to be a military kid thru drawing.

Author Tara Sullivan vistied TMS this week. She presented her books, The Bitter Side of Sweet, Golden Boy and Treasure of the World. We enjoyed large group sessions, writing workshops and book & mural signings. Thank you to the artists Jordyn R. and Vance M. for painting murals of two of her books for her to sign!





Our TMS students were greeted with a Pirate send off as they traveled to Heide Trask to participate in the 2023 Pender County Schools Special Olympics! We supported our team with PINK OUT Friday!



Our 8th grade got to tour Cape Fear Community College’s North Campus to learn about the many programs they offer!




TMS Students are "Powering UP" for tomorrow's special olympics!




Congrats to the Topsail Middle Battle of the Books team after a second place finish at Regionals! The team did an amazing job missing only 4 out of 54 questions! They represented TMS (and PCS) well!!!! 🥈#PCSPride


Congratulations to our TMS Battle of the Books team for placing 2nd in the regional competition today. They traveled to Goldsboro and competed against 11 other counties in the southeastern region. This team represented Pender County and Topsail Middle School well today!


It was Octopus day in Marine Biology class.
