Can you build a hurricane-proof house? Fourth grade Stingrays participated in an in-house field trip with @marinequestuncw today, engineering structures and testing them against "hurricane force" winds.

These hardworking Stingrays have been "all booked up" practicing for the Elementary Battle of the Books competition held on Tuesday. With a very solid performance, the team came in 4th overall. Awesome work, Stingrays, and
congratulations to Surf City Elementary on their win!

Fourth grade Stingrays joined Ms. Rodgers on a trip to watch the NC Symphony perform at Heide Trask High School.

Congratulations to Stingray Garrett Wadsworth! Garret won an exemplary award at the State Science Fair on Saturday! His project was titled "Firm Foundations."

Did you see a rainbow today? These Stingrays did! They made spectroscopes and viewed the way light can be broken into the seven colors of the rainbow.

Have you ordered your 22-23 STE Yearbook yet? The deadline for online orders is April 1st (no fooling!). Just go to www.strawbridge.net and click "Order Pictures and Yearbooks." Code: YB25739
