
Congratulations to Hazel Martin for making the NCBA All-District Band for 2025! Hazel will represent SCMS in the state All-District Clinic at ECU next week and will perform at ECU with the other students from around the state.


Students in Mrs. Schmitz’s Reward Day group Friday were able to make snow in hopes they’ll have real snow soon!




Ms. Muffett's Reward Day group worked hard Friday to summon some snow! I guess we'll see tonight if their efforts were successful!

Due to the forecasted winter weather, Pender County Schools will move to an early release schedule on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.

We have several bus changes for today, January 9, 2025.
Bus 240 will be 15 minutes late.
Buses 258 and 242 will be 60-90 minutes late.
Bus 285 will be 90-120 minutes late.

WonderWorks Myrtle Beach – the iconic Upside-Down Building – is thrilled to announce the opening of its ART-OLINA: Youth Art Gallery of the Carolinas! This special gallery showcases the talents of budding young artists from North and South Carolina.
This year’s contest theme, “The Nature of STEM,” invites participants to creatively explore how Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics connect with the natural world. From studying plants and animals to designing innovative tools for a better tomorrow, the theme celebrates the wonders of nature and the power of STEM.
