6th grade math home project. 250 plus cereal boxes received by teachers. Students used the cereal box to make a "net" of surfaces and solve the total surface areas for each box.
The Leaping Frog puzzle is solved by some 6th grade students. It is a game to find mathematical patterns. Once the pattern is identified, the puzzle could be expanded for more frogs. Most adults cannot find the pattern easily.

7th and 8th grade students have been studying Impressionism & post Impressionism in Art class. Focusing on Pointillism. Students have learned that a word ending with the suffix -ism is an action noun which is a practice, system or philosophy. Pointillism is the study of light and color with practice of placing dots of color next to each other to create an image
7th grade is working with markers and 8th with acrylic paint only using q-tips to apply the paint in dots.

Taylor Swift or Travis Kelce... who is worth more? Ms. Johnson's homeroom class researched famous football couples to find their net worth and discover who makes more money per year. Then the students took the dimensions of an actual NFL football to create scale copies of paper footballs.
