Yesterday, our second graders spent the day at the Children’s Museum of Wilmington where they learned about the three states of matter through the exploration and creation of slime. Students also got time to check out all of the hands-on fun the museum has to offer!

SCE was well represented at Saturday’s Regional Science Fair at UNCW. We had two groups to earn awards. First, Honorary Mention went to Carter, Elijah & Gage in 4th grade (not pictured). While Harper, Hailey & Audrina in 5th grade received an Exemplary Project within the Elementary Division for their Cold Wash Challenge Project. They will be moving on to the State Science Fair on March 29th at NC State in Raleigh.
