Pender High School

This past weekend, 43 PHS Beta members participated in the state convention for the National Beta Club in Greensboro, NC.  Students competed in academics, a variety of visual arts, and multiple team competitions.  In total, these students participated in over 37 different categories to bring home 26 top 5 wins!  Placing in the top 5 earns that student or team an invitation to the national convention which will be held in Kissimmee, Florida this summer.   This will be the second year in a row that our club has had a student who has been selected as a Premier Performer, which means this student will perform in all of the opening events at the National Convention!  We are super proud of ALL of our students and their continual strive for excellence!
