
Friday is Stop, Drop, and Read Day in the Library!



Ms. Hamilton's 2nd Graders have a fun week learning about their Senses in Science. They spent some time outside yesterday practicing all they had learned and ended the activity with "tasting" popsicles.



Last week our Pre-K students showed us that they were ready to grow as a Cub!

I will graduate this year with my associates in general education. I have my paralegal degree as well as esthiology. I have over eight years of child care experience, this being my first year as an IA in Kindergarten. My husband and I have two daughters that both attend CFE.

Hello! My name is Renae Snider. This is my first year at Cape Fear Elementary, however, I have taught for 23 years in grades 2nd, 4th and 5th. I am from Oklahoma but have lived in North Carolina since 2012. I am looking forward to a wonderful year and am excited to be a part of the Cape Fear Elementary school community.

My name is Jeb Byerley, and I am very excited to be joining the Cape Fear Elementary family! I am originally from Chapel Hill, NC and am a big Tar Heels fan! I recently graduated from Roanoke College in Salem, VA where I played baseball in addition to studying Elementary Education. Outside of school, I love to do anything outdoors or on the water! I look forward to getting to know you all over the course of this year!

My name is Hannah Sarsony. This is my dog Oliver! I live in Wilmington, NC and I am a recent UNCW graduate. I got my degree in Elementary Education. I am very excited to be teaching first grade this year at Cape Fear Elementary!
