Ms. Hamilton's 2nd Graders have a fun week learning about their Senses in Science. They spent some time outside yesterday practicing all they had learned and ended the activity with "tasting" popsicles.
Last week our Pre-K students showed us that they were ready to grow as a Cub!

Hello! My name is Renae Snider. This is my first year at Cape Fear Elementary, however, I have taught for 23 years in grades 2nd, 4th and 5th. I am from Oklahoma but have lived in North Carolina since 2012. I am looking forward to a wonderful year and am excited to be a part of the Cape Fear Elementary school community.

I recently graduated from Roanoke College in Salem, VA where I played baseball in addition to studying Elementary Education. Outside of school, I love to do anything outdoors or on the water! I look forward to getting to know you all over the course of this year!
