We hope everyone had a wonderful and relaxing break. Students will return on Monday, January 6th.
Report cards will go home on Thursday, January 9th. Please contact your child's teacher to schedule a conference for any concerns.
We are also approaching Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday on Monday, January 20th. There will be no school.

Please come join us for a CFE Spirit Fundraising Night hosted by our PTO at Burgaw Brewing located at 1013 South Wright Street, Burgaw on January 14th from 5:00-9:00 pm. Be sure to show you flyer when you order. Flyers will be sent home this week.
When sending in absence notes, please be sure to include your child’s first and last name as well as the date(s) of the absence. Notes should be submitted as soon as your child returns to school.
This helps us ensure their attendance is recorded accurately.
This is a reminder if you need to change your child’s transportation arrangements, please send a note to your child’s teacher. If a change must be made by phone, please contact us by 2:00 pm. Additionally, there are no checkouts after 2:00pm. When signing your child out, please remain inside the office.

This is a reminder that tomorrow, Friday, December 20th, is an early release day. Elementary students will be dismissed at 11:30 AM.
For families with bus riders, please plan to be at your child’s regular bus stop three hours earlier than usual to accommodate the early release schedule.
Congratulations to our PE Hall of Fame Inductees! 2 students from each grade were chosen who exemplify above and beyond behavior in physical education. These students show traits like leadership, sportsmanship, character, kindness, outstanding effort, a positive attitude and follow class expectations daily. Coach M would like to recognize the amazing cubs for their achievement and leadership to their peers. 🏆
