March Madness in Music! Fifth graders are learning some rhythms skills with basketballs!
Yesterday our Cubs Pre-K-5th graders enjoyed a performance from the amazing, energetic music artist Zak Morgan and celebrated their PBIS accomplishments.
Cape Fear Elementary School would like to thank "DJ Dane Britt" for organizing this amazing donation! We have 30 new ukuleles and a djembe drum! We cannot wait to use them in music class!

This week 1st Grade had fun switching classes for Black History Month. Each teacher taught about one African American leader/celebrity focusing on their achievements. These included: Barack Obama, Michael Jordan, Beyoncé, Simone Biles and Ruby Bridges.

3rd graders enjoyed read aloud from parents, Brandi Odom and Kirstin Mathews, as we conclude our celebration of Read Across America Week!
Second grade enjoyed a live tipi display from Bret Butler with Field Trips Delivered. Students got to help set up a tipi, watch how fire is made and about the way of life for Plains Indians.
