Bring on the Book Joy! The Scholastic Book Fair is Here! Students will have the chance to shop during the school day, and we’re excited to invite all families to our Scholastic Book Fair Family Event on Tuesday, December 10th and Thursday, December 12th from 3:30–5:15 pm. After shopping, stick around to enjoy our Winter Concert and Musical. Shop with your children and experience their Book Joy firsthand. Our 2nd Grade grade Winter Concert is Tuesday, December 10th at 5:30 PM in the gym. Students need to line up by 5:20 in the hall with their teacher.
Our 5th grade musical "Elfis and the Frozen Princess" will be performed on Thursday, December 12th @ 5:30 pm. Doors open at 5:15pm. Student need to be in place by 5:20pm.

When sending in absence notes, please be sure to include your child’s first and last name as well as the date(s) of the absence. Notes should be submitted as soon as your child returns to school. This helps us ensure their attendance is recorded accurately.
This is a reminder if you need to change your child’s transportation arrangements, please send a note to your child’s teacher. If a change must be made by phone, please contact us by 2:00 pm. Additionally, there are no checkouts after 2:00pm. When signing your child out, please remain inside the office.

It was an exciting morning at CFE with author Scott Reintgen. He came and spoke with our 5th graders. Each student received a signed book to take home and read. He opened their eyes to the world of dragons which his books are about. They even had an opportunity to ask a Q&A session.

All 5th grade students will take thier Science NC Check-In assessment on Tuesday, December 3rd. Any student who is absent will have to make up the assessment when they return.
Vision screenings will be completed on Wednesday, December 4th for 1st, 3rd, and 5th grade students. Please contact our school nurse if you have any questions or if you do not want your child to participate in vision screening at our school.
We will see students back on Monday.

This afternoon, students who ride Bus 294 will ride on either Bus 320 or Bus 323. Some students may be dropped off earlier than normal since the route has been split for this afternoon.
A turkey filled day! Turkey math with multiplication, disguise a turkey and write a story, Thanksgiving Table STEM activity and writing about what we're thankful for on the turkey's feathers!
Mrs. Hollifields class celebrated 50 paw prints by having Mr. Greg read a Thanksgiving story!
