8th grade students are in the process of completing Ms. Cortes’s absolute favorite lesson to teach: self-portraits. Through this project, students were taught about proportion, value, and form. Each portrait turned out unique to the artist. The likeness is impressive!

Reminder: volleyball tryouts today 03/14 and tomorrow 03/15 from 3:00-4:30 in the WPMS gym. Students must have a current physical on file.
Baseball tryouts tomorrow 03/15, Wednesday 03/16, and Thursday 03/17 from 4:30-6:00 at Pender Memorial Park. Students trying out will wait in the gym with Coach Brown until time for tryouts. Students will have a ride to Pender Memorial Park, but will need to be picked up at the end of tryouts. Students must have a current physical on file.
Attention 8th grade parents: be on the look out for information that was sent home about the upcoming transition ceremony.
