Greetings Warrior Families,
This is your West Pender Middle School Weekly Update.
Students will begin taking their End-of-Grade Assessments this week. The Math assessment will be administered on Tuesday, May 10th, followed by Reading on May 12th. Our 8th grade students will complete their Science EOG on the following Tuesday, May 17th. We want to encourage all students to do their very best and showcase what they have learned this school year.
Our end of the year celebrations are fast approaching. For more information regarding our Athletics Banquet, Grade Level Awards Ceremonies, and the 8th Grade Commencement Ceremony, please check out our school website and social media outlets. You may also contact Mrs. Diggs or our main office for more information.
We would like to remind families that masks are now optional in classrooms, on school grounds, and on school transportation. All students, staff, and community members are encouraged to make their own decisions regarding their personal health into choosing whether to wear a mask. You may contact the school nurse with any questions or concerns.
