This is your West Pender Middle School Weekly Update.
Our students did a wonderful job completing their NC Check-in Assessments last week. We truly appreciate their efforts in and outside of the classroom. We hope to continue the great work for the remainder of the school year.
The 8th Grade Formal is fast approaching on April 30th. Please reach out to Mrs. Diggs with your questions about the formal. We look forward to a great event.
Our Warrior Baseball and Volleyball teams continue play this week. On Monday, April 11th, our Volleyball team plays host to Burgaw Middle School. On Thursday, April 14th, the Volleyball team will travel to Cape Fear Middle School and the Baseball team will host Surf City Middle School. All games begin at 4:00pm with an admission price of $5. For questions or concerns regarding athletics, please reach out to Coach Skipper.
We would like to remind families that masks are now optional in classrooms, on school grounds, and on school transportation. All students, staff, and community members are encouraged to make their own decisions regarding their personal health into choosing whether to wear a mask. You may contact the school nurse with any questions or concerns.
