Hello, Warriors! This is Principal Garza with your weekly update.

Holiday Spirit Week Schedule

Monday: Plaid Power Day – Wear your favorite plaid.
Tuesday: Holiday Sweater Day – Show off your holiday spirit with any festive sweater.
Wednesday: Holiday Accessory Day – Festive hats, sparkly scarves, fun socks, and accessories to spread holiday cheer.
Thursday: Sparkle and Shine Day – Dress in your fanciest outfits to ring in the new year.
Friday: Holiday Pajama Day – Wear your favorite holiday-themed pajamas!

Basketball Tryouts

Girls: January 6-7, 3:20-4:25 PM
Boys: January 6-7, 4:30-6:15 PM
Students must have all required forms uploaded in Big Teams. Additionally, students must have 3 WPMS athletic recommendation forms completed by 3 current teachers (students will receive the forms in advisory this week).

Countdown to Winter Break
Only 1 week left before Winter Break—let’s finish strong!

Friday, December 20th is the last day of Quarter 2 and the final day for students to turn in any assignments for their report card grades.
Reminder: This Friday is a half-day, with student dismissal at 12:00 PM.
Students will return to school on Monday, January 6th.

STEAM/Parent Conference Night & Winter Band Concert
Join us for an exciting evening on Thursday, December 19th:

STEAM Night and Parent Conferences: 4:00-6:00 PM. Teachers have reached out via the Rooms App to schedule conferences. Enjoy fun STEM and art activities while connecting with our school!
Winter Band Concert: Doors to the gym open at 6:00 PM. Celebrate the season with great music, hot chocolate, and holiday cookies on us.
