WPMS Hosts Donuts With Grown-Ups

This Thursday, the cafeteria of West Pender Middle School echoed with laughter and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee as families gathered for a special morning of connection and celebration at our Donuts with Grownups event. This delightful occasion aimed to strengthen the bond between our school community and families by inviting them to share a delicious breakfast with their beloved West Pender warriors.

The event, which coincided with our school's 100th day of the academic year, was a resounding success, filled with warmth, joy, and, of course, delectable treats. Our dedicated cafeteria manager, Tashena Herring, along with her talented staff, pulled out all the stops to ensure a memorable experience for everyone involved.

Upon entering the cafeteria, families were greeted with a mouthwatering display of glazed donuts adorned with an array of cereal toppings, sparking excitement among both children and adults alike. From classic favorites like Cinnamon Toast Crunch to adventurous combinations like Lucky Charms, there was something to satisfy every palate.

In addition to the irresistible treats, our families were treated to a coffee bar, where they could indulge in a freshly brewed cup of coffee to complement their sweet breakfast delights. The cozy atmosphere fostered meaningful conversations and allowed parents to connect with each other and with our administration.

As families savored their donuts and sipped on coffee, the air was filled with laughter, chatter, and a sense of community spirit. It was heartwarming to see parents and guardians bonding with their West Pender warriors, sharing stories, and creating lasting memories together.

West Pender is planning on hosting more family breakfast opportunities this school year and hopes to have more families join in the festivities. Be on the lookout for future announcements and mark your calendars for another chance to create cherished memories with your West Pender warrior.
