Dear West Pender Middle School Families,
I hope this message finds you well. As we approach a new week, here are the latest updates from our Warrior community:
This week is a two-day week. We will be out of school Wednesday, November 22nd-Friday, November 24th for the Thanksgiving Holiday. This past week our students shared during leadership advisory what they were thankful for and we were excited to display in our warrior cafe.
Warrior Attendance: We are aiming to increase our daily attendance rate to 95%. You can help by ensuring that your WPMS warrior attends school every day. Let’s set the standard for attendance!
Athletic Updates: WPMS will play on the road this Monday at Topsail Middle School. We wish them the best of luck!
Feast of Hope: For the last three years, Northside Church has partnered with Pender County Schools to provide free meals for Thanksgiving to families. See this link: https://northside.church/feast... These meals are delivered directly to the families' houses. Northside has provided 2300 meals over the last three years and more than half to Pender County residents. Delivery and drive thru options are available. Please see https://forms.gle/pMq1bS5NSU1A... if you or someone you know is need for a hot Thanksgiving meal.
