BURGAW, NC – Pender County Schools is proud to announce that Michelle Insco, an EL Teacher at C.F. Pope Elementary and West Pender Middle, has been appointed to the prestigious NC Multilingual Learner Teacher Network Leadership Team for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year.

Ms. Insco's appointment reflects her outstanding dedication and expertise in the field of education. She has consistently demonstrated a commitment to enhancing the educational experience for all students, especially Multilingual Learners (ML) and Title III students.

The NC Multilingual Learner Teacher Network Leadership Team plays a vital role in fostering a community of practice that supports students across the state of North Carolina.
As a member of this team, Ms. Insco will collaborate with the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) ML/Title III Team and educators from various backgrounds across the state. This collaborative effort will allow her to contribute her expertise, engage in professional development, and help shape the future of education in North Carolina.
