Good evening West Pender Middle School families, this is Principal Garza with your Weekly Warrior message. There will be no school for students this Monday and Tuesday. These days are designated teacher workdays. Students should report back to school on Wednesday, March 15th, 2023.
This month we begin our countdown to Slam the Exam. In the month of March we start our March Madness campaign. This month we will begin our homeroom and grade level attendance challenge. Each week we will reward our homerooms with the highest school attendance percentage and each month we reward our highest grade level. Additionally, students will take their End of Year i Ready diagnostic assessments and we will be celebrating them with our leadership board.
This week our PTO is sponsoring a St. Patrick’s Day Dance immediately after school on Friday, March 17th. The dance will take place in the WPMS cafe and will start after school at 3:00pm. The cost of the dance is $5.00 for all students. Students can bring their $5.00 and the attached permission slip to their homeroom teacher. All students should be picked up by 5:45PM.
