MEC Wrestling and Swimming Championships Cancelled for Saturday 1.25.25
Due to the impacts of our inclement weather on school and our athletics schedules for our MEC member school systems for the rest of this week and weekend, and on the timing of our upcoming NCHSAA state playoffs reporting deadlines (Swimming - 1.25.25, and Wrestling 1.29.25), we have officially CANCELLED the following events for Saturday, 1.25.25:
-MEC Wrestling Conference Championships
-MEC Swimming Conference Championships
Our MEC Athletic Directors are working closely with our County Athletic Directors, and Principals to reschedule other winter sports events from this week that may be impacted by the inclement weather. Once these rescheduled dates are confirmed, we will share this information at that time.
