We had such a great turn out at our first Grandparents breakfast. It was exciting to welcome all our grandparents in for our students to show off our school and their classrooms. We can't wait to welcome our second cohort of grandparents on Friday!

1st graders are currently into their first Wit and Wisdom unit "A World of Books". Mrs. Carlisle is bringing this connection into art class and they are learning how to make their own Biblioburros using different shapes and textures. We are excited to see them making connections across their classes.

📚🍟 Fries for School Supplies is Back! 🍟📚 We are excited to announce that for the second year in a row, our local McDonald’s owner-operators are hosting the Fries for School Supplies fundraiser in our school district! Last year, over $110,000 was raised for our area schools, and we’re aiming to do even more this year! 🎉 From August 26th to 30th, McDonald’s will donate 10% of sales from all a la carte Fries to help support our schools. It’s a delicious way to contribute to our community! 🙌

Today was our official first day back with all staff. We were thrilled to be able to participate in Project ADAM and become a certified school. The certification process included staff working together and putting together an emergency response team and plan in case of a cardiac arrest episode. Safety and security is our top priority and this is just another way we can continue to keep all of our students safe and be prepared to respond in the case of any emergency event.
