Due to ongoing power outages at these two schools, we have decided to transition to a virtual learning day for Topsail Annandale Elementary and Topsail Middle School students only on Wednesday , January 10, 2024.

Third grade teacher, Mrs. Lee, received a Pender Education Partnership (PEP) mini-grant, to help fund our third graders’ planetarium experience this semester. Thanks Mrs. Lee and PEP!


The day before the break brought lots of excitement to TAE! School-wide pajama day, our 4th grade holiday musical performance for the whole school, AND the students and staff surprised Mrs. Wilson and Mrs. Bellflower with a super sweet song, wishing Mrs. Wilson good luck in her new role and welcoming Mrs. Bellflower to TAE! 💚🖤 Check out our PTA page for the full video.


In case you missed it, we kicked off our Winter Break with a school-wide pajama day! Staff even joined in on the fun!!!


MarineQuest visited 3rd grade to experiment with water salinity and explore creatures in the fouling community.










The top 3 TAES science fair participants moving forward to the county competition!! Good job, we are so proud of you!





Third grade had an awesome field trip to the Fort Fisher Aquarium! Students made amazing connections to what they learned in the first module of Wit & Wisdom, The Sea.

Mrs. Charity's group had fun working together to determine what melts a marshmallow faster... cold milk, hot cocoa or vinegar?!?!


Fourth-grade students “sleighed” their performance last night! Mrs.Payne led them in the production of Antlers, a story of 3 reindeer who pursue their dreams of designing antlers. We love a merry musical!

The best way to spread Christmas cheer is "reading" loud for all to hear. We loved welcoming this parent as a guest reader today. He reminded kindergarten students that you are never too small to have a special role & how we can all find ways to help!
