Due to unforeseen circumstances, both Topsail Annandale Elementary and Topsail Middle School are currently experiencing a power outage. As a result, we have decided to implement a remote learning day for these two schools on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.
The safety and well-being of our students and staff are our top priorities. Understanding the challenges posed by the power outage, we believe that remote learning will provide a feasible solution to ensure continuity in education during this temporary setback.
It's important to note that this remote learning day is specific to Topsail Annandale Elementary and Topsail Middle School only. All other Pender County Schools, including Topsail High, will operate on a two-hour delay on the same day, allowing time for the necessary adjustments to be made.
Duke Energy estimates repairs to be completed late Wednesday afternoon.
