Happy Summer Sharks! This is Principal Bridgers with a few reminders. We look forward to seeing you at Open House this week on August 24th from 4-6 pm. When you arrive on campus, you will begin with your child’s homeroom teacher. Homeroom lists will be posted around the school. PTA has scheduled a food truck to be at school. Enjoy!
Sports: all students must have a current sports physical to participate in tryouts.
Football: 8/22, 4-6 pm; 8/23, 4-5:30 pm; 8/25, 4-5:30 pm; 8/26, 4-5:30 pm; bring water, wear cleats, mouth pieces; join Coach Mullins’ football Remind group by sending a text to “81010” and texting this message “@surfcityf”
Softball: tryouts will be on the first day of school, Monday, August 29th from 3:15-5:00 pm.
Cheerleading: Cheer tryouts begin on Monday, August 22 from 4-6pm and final tryouts will be on Tuesday, August 23 from 4-8pm. You can reach Coach Council at jodi_council@pender.k12.nc.us for questions.
