Teaching wasn’t Rachel Vuocolo’s first career, but it’s certainly where she found her passion. After co-owning a business that provided bookkeeping services to small businesses, she decided to pursue a degree in special education and elementary education. Her journey in education began as a self-contained middle school special education teacher, and from that moment on, she
knew middle school was where she belonged. Now, with over 12 years of experience, Rachel proudly embraces her role as a “dorky” 8th-grade math teacher who loves working with students during this pivotal stage of learning.
Rachel has been married to her husband, Tom, for 21 years (together for 26 years), and they share a 20-year-old son, Dominic.
