SURF CITY, NC – Surf City Middle School Principal Crystal Hall has been selected to participate in the inaugural Early Career Principals Academy (ECPA).
With a unique journey that reflects her unwavering commitment to education, Ms. Hall brings a wealth of experience to her role as Principal of Surf City Middle School. She earned her B.S. in Restaurant and Food Service Management from Johnson & Wales University-Providence, followed by an M. Ed. in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix-Glendale, and an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Arizona State University-Tempe.
Ms. Hall's path to education was marked by her transition from the business industry to pursue her passion for teaching and working with children. Her dedication to the field shines through her 14-year tenure in both Arizona and North Carolina's public education systems. After making a meaningful impact as an Assistant Principal at Topsail High School, she assumed the role of Principal at Surf City Middle School in May 2023.
The Early Career Principals Academy, a partnership between the NC Department of Public Instruction, the Belk Foundation, and the NC Alliance for School Leadership Development, recognizes Ms. Hall's potential as an emerging leader. The program's three-year curriculum blends in-person and virtual sessions led by esteemed local and national experts. Ms. Hall's participation underscores her commitment to fostering a thriving educational community, aligning with the ECPA's vision.
