Thursday, January 12 - Report Cards sent home
The North Carolina Oral Health Section will conduct dental screenings for children in Kindergarten during the 2022-2023 school year. The dental screenings will be completed by a licensed public health dental hygienist with the Oral Health Section on Tuesday 1/17/23. The hygienist will use gloves and a flashlight during the screening.
The data we collect is used to improve oral health programs for children and youth in your county. The dental screening is also a positive experience that provides your child the opportunity to learn about good dental care, even if your child sees a dentist regularly.
