Friday - Operation Military Kids Club (OMKC) meets after school
Kindergarten Registration is open! See the linked flyer in both English and Spanish. Please help us spread the word. If you have friends or neighbors who have little ones that are Kindergarten age, please share this information with them. There are three ways to register - use the QR code; head to pendercountyschools.net or attend the scheduled Kindergarten screener event at school where assistance for registering will be provided. The registration deadline is March 31, 2023. More information to come regarding the Kindergarten screener event on March 21st. For now, please mark your calendars.
If you would like for your student to attend a Pender County School other than the one they are zoned for (aside from Pender Early College), you will need to submit a reassignment request. The application will open on Wednesday, March 1st and close on Friday, March 31st. The Pender Mobile Dental Clinic will be at Surf City Elementary beginning March 20th and will be on campus for three weeks. The clinic provides routine and basic dental treatment to all interested students, parents and staff. If you would like to take advantage of the convenient, quality dental services, have your student pick up a form from their teacher, or call 910-471-3250. Please be sure to fill out the health insurance information and sign the form.
OMKC is preparing for the Month of the Military Child in April . In place of club at the school in April, we will be hosting the Freedom Family Fest at Kiwanis Park on April 30th from 1-4pm, for all our military kids and their families! Mark your calendars and plan to join us for the fun!
