What are you doing this Saturday? Hopefully, you’re coming to our Hispanic Heritage Celebration! It will be at Heide Trask from 4pm-8pm; admission is $5 per car. There will be food for sale, as well as free games and student performances! See you there!
For Fire Safety Week, the Rocky Point Fire Department came out to our school to teach Kindergarten and 1st Grade all about fire safety! We even got to meet a special guest...Smokey the Bear!

This is the second week of Pender County’s Awareness Month - Everyone is encouraged to wear yellow this week for Special Needs Awareness!
5th Grade Science completed an educational - and yummy - science experiment! After studying a unit on physical and chemical changes, students observed and identified changes to the ingredients as they applied their knowledge. This looks like a fun experiment to do at home!
