STUDENT ART NEEDED! Our annual "Yearbook Cover Art Contest" has begun! Students may submit their drawing on a piece of white paper until October 25th. Students should use LOTS of color, try to incorporate our school mascot or Ram Pledge (Responsibility, Achievement, Manners, Safety), and put their name on the BACK of the paper. Entries will be judged anonymously on October 26th, and the winner will be announced the week of October 29th. Good luck to all of our artists!

Ms. Bassano's and Ms. Leonard's class were among the first classrooms to reach their goal - great work! In Wit & Wisdom, our Kindergarten students have been reading the book, "The Last Stop on Market Street." In the story, the main character, CJ, uses his five senses to explore the world around him. Each year, millions of American families face the reality of living with a mental health condition directly or indirectly through family, friends, and co-workers. Meet Ms. Stewart! Ms. Stewart is one of our amazing 2nd Grade teachers, and she is a ball of sunshine - she even heads up our school's Sunshine Club! When not playing with her boys or dogs or taking care of her plants, she loves to curl up with a good suspense novel. Thank you for being such an important part of our RPE family!

Did You Know? We have a partnership with Communities In Schools, and Ms. Michelle Stone serves as our school's coordinator. Communities In Schools (CIS) is a nationwide program that supports ALL students as they journey through their education on a path of success. One of the big factors in a student's success is their attendance rate. Did you know that if a student misses just 2 days of school a month that over the course of their education, that will add up to a full YEAR of missed education?
