Our first graders had an exciting time learning about why there are changes to the amount of day time and night time throughout the year. They created pictograms to represent the amount of time we have sunlight and darkness in each different season. Students will use these pictograms for the rest of the school year to make observation about their hypotheses on the charts compared to the amount of light in a day.
