Tuesday January 10 Report Cards will be distributed.
Students will be busy taking Middle of Year assessments over the next three weeks in all grade levels. It is critical that they are in attendance for these assessments so that we can monitor achievement and assess student growth.
Both the Middle School and Elementary Science Olympiad practice resume Tuesday, January 10 from 3:00-4:00. Please make sure you have a ride home from practice at 4:00.
There will be no school Monday, January 16th in honor of MLK Jr.
Basketball Tryouts will begin on Monday Jan. 9. Girls will try out from 3:00 - 4:15 and boys will try out from 4:15 - 5:30. The boys will be able to stay for a study hall period until their tryouts begin at 4:15. Please have rides available at 4:15 for girls and 5:30 for boys. Please remember that students must have a current physical on file with Mrs. Mintz and be academically eligible from Semester 1 grades. Mandatory Parent Meeting - If your child has not participated in a sport this school year, the meeting will begin at 4:45 on Tuesday, Jan. 17. If you and your child have watched the concussion protocol videos then the meeting will begin with Coach Rivenbark at 5:30.
Second grade will be taking a field trip this Friday, January 13. They will be going to the Marbles Children's Museum in Raleigh.
