| Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! We are excited to see everyone at Open House on Thursday, July 14th. Open House will be from 5:00-7:00 pm. When coming to park on campus, please use the parking spaces first. Do not park in the fire lanes. If the parking spaces in front of the school are full, please use the parking lot next to the auditorium and walk to the front of the school. The school will open to enter the building beginning at 4:55. Once inside you will be directed to where to find out who your child’s homeroom teacher is for the year. Homeroom list will be posted in the following areas: K-2 will be in the hallway leading to the gymnasium. 3-5 will be on the 3-5 hall stairwell. 6-8 will be on the 6-8 stairwell. Homeroom rosters will also be posted by each homeroom teachers door. Then you will meet your student’s homeroom teacher (middle school will meet all core and elective teachers). There will be forms for you to complete in your student’s homeroom class. This is where you will complete the chromebook agreement forms. If your student’s homeroom teacher requires the chrombrook to be taken home, you will report to the media center to pick up your chromebook. Bus information will be located in the gym. Here you will meet the bus driver and speak with Dr. Jordan, Assistant Principal. Students who are car riders, you will need to pick up student name tags for your vehicles. If there is a possibility that your student who rides the bus will be a car rider at any time, please get a car tag from Mrs. Donna Mintz in the gym. Here the car lane procedures will be discussed. Our PTO, Athletic Booster Club, PACES after school program, and 21st Century Program will also have tables set up in the gym for you to receive information . We also will have The Last Taino Food Truck on campus for families to grab a bite to eat. Please see the flyer with information on food items and prices.
