Weekly Update

Good evening Penderlea Families,

Here are some important information and updates for the week of April 14th through April 18th and beyond.

Word of the Week

This week’s Word of the Week is Infer. Infer means to make a guess based on facts and observations.

Please re-enforce the use of this word at home.

Thank You for a Great Penderlea Day!

A huge thank you to all the families, volunteers, and community members who helped make Penderlea Day such a success! Your support means so much, and we can’t wait to share the final fundraising total next week.

All proceeds will go directly toward supporting our students, staff, and improving our school.

If you attended, we’d love your feedback! Please take a moment to complete our event survey:

Moving On Up Night

Join us for our annual "Moving On Up" night on Thursday, May 8th! This important event offers families the opportunity to visit their child's next grade level, meet the teachers, and receive important information for next year. We're offering two sessions:

Session 1 from 4:00 PM - 4:45 PM

Session 2 from 4:45 PM - 5:30 PM.

During your visit, you'll receive information about your child's future teachers, grade-level curriculum and content, and ways to support your child's learning at home. Plus, enjoy a yummy popcorn snack!

Don't miss this chance to help prepare your child for a successful transition to their next academic year.
