PE

In PE this quarter, elementary students are learning the fundamentals of jump rope as part of their fitness activities. This skill helps improve coordination, balance, and cardiovascular health, while also promoting perseverance! Whether practicing basic jumps or mastering more advanced techniques like double-unders or crisscrosses, students are encouraged to challenge themselves while having fun. Jump rope exercises not only build physical endurance but also enhance focus and rhythm, making it an enjoyable and effective way to stay active. Through regular practice, students gain confidence and develop important motor skills that will benefit them in various sports and activities. As they progress they are earning their "belts" in Jump Rope Ninja, with the ability to earn up to black belt!

Belts

After individual learning, students come together in teams to work on their cooperation skills. They must try to get their whole team safely to the other mat without getting tagged!
