Thursday, the 8th grade students recently had the opportunity to explore the various options available to them at Pender High School as they begin preparing for their high school journey. During this session, they learned about the career pathways they can pursue. With the guidance of Mrs. Simmons, the students also started working on their 4-year plans, setting goals for their high school education and planning the courses and opportunities they want to pursue. Dancing Drums recently visited Penderlea, where they introduced students to the rhythms and sounds of drumming. Through hands-on instruction, the students learned simple songs to play using drums.
