In the Media Center, Kindergarten through 2nd grade students learned about Indigenous People for National Indigenous People Month. They learned some steps to the Powwow dance and that the clothing worn at a Powwow is called Regalia.

Turkey Hunt in PE Class!
Our students had a blast in PE class today with a Thanksgiving-themed game of Turkey Hunt! 
The rules were simple: students threw soft balls at "turkeys", "turkeys" tried to avoid getting their cone hit while pulling cones on scooters. It was a fun way to stay active and celebrate the season with some friendly competition!
