Weekly Message 01-19-24

Thank you all for coming out Friday night for our quarter auction it was a huge success thanks to our families. Special thanks to our PTO who did an amazing job, and to the staff members who came out to help. All Pender Early College applications are due to Mrs. Burdette by Friday, January 26. 8th graders will be visiting Pender High School for a transition event on Friday, February 2. Permission slips went home on 1/16. These must be returned by 1/26/24. Pender High School will host parents and their rising 9th graders at an open house on Tuesday, February 6 from 5-7 pm in the gymnasium. Students and parents can talk to representatives from each department about possible course selections. Students may also register at this event through PowerSchool for their preferred electives with a parent present.
ACCESS testing will begin next week for our multilingual learners. Testing will continue through March 1st. Please contact Mrs. Treto with any questions.
